PLANO, Texas -- Walmart's new fuel staion and convenience store in Plano, Texas, which opened on July 11, is the first of several new locations that Walmart is palnning to roll out as it begins its latest foray into the convenience channel.

The company will open more stores like the Plano site in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, in Lake Worth, Arlington and the Colony, by the end of the year, it said.
Walmart is building these new c-store fuel stations in the parking lots of Supercenters that did not previously have them, the company said.
