Action Alert Regarding FDA E-Cigarette Plan

Action Alert Regarding FDA E-Cigarette Plan

Last week, FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb presented his plan to the White House to effectively ban the sale of flavored e-cigarettes in convenience stores. This plan must be stopped. It’s critical that you contact your Members of Congress today to urge them to call the White House ASAP.

The FDA is trying to move forward with their plan to unfairly target convenience stores in their effort to crackdown on the underage usage of e-cigarettes. Their plan would block the sale of flavored e-cigarettes (other than mint/menthol and tobacco flavors) in convenience stores, while allowing these products to still be sold in vape stores (or other adult-only stores) and the Internet. They are picking winners and losers in the marketplace while handing a government monopoly to other channels of trade.

TFFA  is urging members of the c-store industry to contact their Members of Congress today and ask them to tell the White House to stop the assault on convenience stores. You can reach your Member of Congress by clicking here - https://www.votervoice.net/NACS/campaigns/63925/respond

It’s imperative that policymakers hear directly from businesses and members of the c-store industry.

Thank you for your help with this urgent matter.
