Annette Hicks Receives 2021 Southwest Showcase Award
TFFA wants to celebrate the accomplishments of our very own, Annette Hicks, for her recent award from TSAE. The association is honored to have such a wonderful and dedicated individual within its ranks.

Annette Hicks, CMP, started her journey in the meetings industry in 1983, handling trade show duties for Southern Union Gas Company. In 1994 she joined the Texas Oil Marketers Association as the Director of Meetings Services, later becoming the Director of Meetings & Expositions for the Texas Food & Fuel Association. In 2016 she was promoted to Vice President of Meetings & Events. She has been a member of MPI THCC since 1995, serving as a board member and chapter president. She has continued to be involved with MPI, serving on the scholarship & nominations committees and in 2019 creating an innovative VP Mentorship program. In addition she served on the board of IAEE-CTC for three years, and on the Southwest Showcase Steering Committee for four years. In 2020 she joined the board of the Texas Society of Association Executives for a three-year term.
