Attention Fuel Marketer Members: Fuel Bobtails, Transports, and Drivers Urgently Needed in Southeast Texas
Sun Coast Resources is the FEMA contracted emergency fuel supplier for the State of Texas.
Sun Coast Resources has been working since last week with local and federal authorities to coordinate fueling equipment, personnel, and operations across south Texas for numerous land, air and water search, rescue and recovery operations in many communities. Hurricane Harvey continues to hover over Texas, bringing with it more rain and increased risks of flooding. The amount of rain is unprecedented and has grown the geographic scope of the response operations to a point where assistance is needed.
To assist in meeting this urgent response need we are asking all marketers members if they can free up equipment for the next 7, 14 or perhaps 30 days to augment our response fleet. We need to hear from you today if you have bobtails or transports available and whether you can also supply drivers.
