The virtual event will focus on not just surviving but thriving in an age of disruption.
July 16, 2020
ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Conexxus has announced dates for its annual Education and Strategy Conference, which is going virtual this year. The three-day event, being held from August 11-13, will focus on how retailers have responded to the pandemic.
With Diamond Sponsors including NACS, Bullock Technologies, Cybera, Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Diebold Nixdorf, Hughes, NCR, Security Innovation, SoundPayments and Stuzo, the goal of this year’s conference will be to empower attendees with the knowledge and tools to not only survive the coronavirus pandemic but to thrive during it.
Each day will include a different topic of discussion:
Day One will focus on “the new normal,” discussing the impacts on retail and society as a whole. Topics will also include what old concepts used by retailers won’t be normal going forward, as well as which ones were heightened and even accelerated.
Day Two will direct attendees’ attention to how industries are being reshaped in response to the disruptions caused by the pandemic and how retailers can grow their new business models.
Day Three will include seminars discussing how digital transformations in strategies and designs will be essential moving forward in retail industries.
In addition to each day’s individual focuses, the conference will feature Technology Education Sessions that will be open to members and non-members alike, featuring Gene Marks as the keynote speaker. On August 18, Conexxus Board members are invited to attend the Conexxus Strategy Meeting, with a cap of 35 attendees. Those interested in attending the Conexxus Strategy Meeting may reach out to Ann Zecca at Conexxus.
Registration opens on Monday, July 20, and space is limited. Visit https://www.conexxus.org/ for more information.
