Current City & County
Face-Covering Ordinances

The Texas Food & Fuel Association is monitoring the proliferation of face mask requirements for businesses across the state of Texas. The Governor's latest order allows for cities and counties to mandate that businesses require customers to wear face masks.

In general, this has meant that cities and counties are enacting ordinances for businesses to post signs about requiring face masks for all customers and to train employees to ask customers to put on a face mask. There are some differences from jurisdiction to jurisdiction on both posting requirements and enforcement of the ordinances.

TFFA is working with its members and the Governor's office on how to navigate this patchwork of regulation. Below please find links to the latest face mask ordinances from cities and counties across the state as of July 1st.
