The Refinery Terminal Fire Company is responding to an incident at the Flint Hills East Plant involving a chemical release.

"Flint Hills Resources Corpus Christi is responding to a release from a tank at the East plant." said Andy Saenz, Flint Hills spokesperson. "The release has been isolated and there are no reported injuries and no off-site impacts. We have notified and are in contact with the appropriate local officials. No community action is needed."
