Industry Partners Coordinating Fuel Supply Relief Efforts with the Office of Governor Greg Abbott
The Texas Food & Fuel Association and industry partners held a conference call this morning (9/1/17) with the Office of the Governor Greg Abbott to discuss providing critical fuel supply relief to areas around the state that were not in Hurricane Harvey's immediate path.
As drivers have begun to "panic buy" gasoline and diesel, the fuel distribution industry has been challenged with fulfilling an increase in fuel demand. The large coordinated effort includes assistance from outside of the state of Texas.
