ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Convenience stores across the country are continuing to grow and open new stores and locations, bringing convenience to consumers and professional drivers across the nation.

Love’s Travel Stops now serves customers at six new Speedco locations open 24/7. The locations are in Jacksonville, Fla.; Napoleon, Ohio; Bliss, Idaho; Valley City, N.D.; Hamilton, Ala. and Channahon, Ill. The stores offer tire, lube and light mechanical services, as well as DOT inspections for professional drivers and fleets. Commercial drivers can stop at more than 400 locations across the country for their needs. Love’s plans to hire about 3,000 people and open about 50 travel stops in 2021.

“We’re continuing to add new products and services to help get professional drivers back on the road quickly and safely so they can continue to deliver essential goods throughout the country,” said Gary Price, executive vice president of Truck Care, in a press release. “Because maintenance and uptime are high priorities for professional drivers, we’re offering high-performance, heavy-duty Love’s Premium 10W-30 Oil and adding lobby bay monitors at these locations so drivers can monitor service and speed.”

Down in Texas, CEFCO opened a new store in Paris that features a CEFCO Kitchen, which churns out hot and cold food items, including “Fresh Yo” self-service frozen yogurt, breakfast sandwiches and made-to-order burritos. This store also has a lounge and shower facilities to accommodate travelers.

“We are excited to open another one of our new large format stores in the Paris market, and we are pleased to introduce our second CEFCO Kitchen store [for] many travelers, truck drivers and families to enjoy,” said Dana Crick, regional vice president of operations, in a press release. “We are glad to be in this market and bring such a new look and offering to the customers of Paris. The Paris community has been so supportive of our growth, and we appreciate that and look forward to an even greater relationship within this beautiful city.”

On the East Coast, RaceTrac has opened its second travel center in the Atlanta area. This new facility will serve the needs of the more than 6,000 professional drivers and workers that pass through the site daily with everything needed to refuel and recharge.

“We chose Forest Park for our next travel center location due to a number of attractive characteristics in the immediate area. Some of those include, but are not limited to, the significant daytime population, the local businesses and the opportunity to provide the local community and visitors a safe, clean and comfortable location where they can easily refuel and recharge, while also providing a variety of great food and beverage options,” said Brian Thornton, RaceTrac vice president of construction, real estate, engineering and special projects, in a press release. “In addition to Forest Park, we have six additional travel center locations opening in 2021 across the Southeast and many more planned for 2022 and beyond.”
