The Office of the Governor has issued a temporary waiver to allow the further distribution and sale of Winter Time RVP fuel beyond the compliance date of May 1st for terminals, distributors and retailers. In addition, the Governor’s action extends the distribution and sale of Wintertime fuel blends with higher RVP beyond the June 1st deadline for retailers and distributors.
 
Additionally, EPA has issued a 48 state waiver for the Federal RVP standards as well. EPA’s waiver is limited to a 20 day period under the statute. However, EPA has issued a letter indicating their intention to extend the waiver beyond the initial waiver period.
