Statewide Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Hot Foods Waiver Extension
The Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) has granted the Texas Health and Human Services Commission’s request for extension of the Statewide Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Hot Foods Waiver. FNS first approved this waiver on August 26, 2017, through the end of September and is now extending it through the end of October. SNAP households will be able to purchase hot food and hot food products through October 31, 2017.
