TABC Previews New AIMS Online Registration System

Austin, Texas - January 21, 2021

Today the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commision unveiled a new online registration and tracking system called the Alcohol Industry Management System (AIMS) which the commission plans to begin using on September 1, 2021. The new software system is a dramatic overhaul and improvement for TABC's online customer engagement to help all of those in the alcohol industry to better navigate the processes of permit application, permit renewal and all other customer service needs with TABC.

The Texas Food & Fuel Association met several times with TABC leadership ahead of the 2019 Texas Legislative Session and worked with TABC to help secure the funding for these new computer system upgrades. TFFA anticipates that these new technology upgrades will make it much easier for TFFA members to communicate and interface with TABC's permitting processes.

TABC has prepared informational videos and webinars associated with the rollout of the AIMS computer system and TFFA will share those videos with members as soon as they are available.
