I have the difficult task of informing you Past Chairman Raymond “Jerdy” Gary passed away Wednesday, May 5. The family has been long time members of the Association and we are deeply saddened to learn of this loss.

Jerdy was a petroleum entrepreneur, public servant, and continued his service to the Association through the mid-1980s serving on the Board, Committees and President of Texas Oil Marketers Association in 1985. Jerdy was presented the E.K. Bennett Award in 1990 and served as the Association’s Executive Vice President from 1993-1995. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with this wife Anne, daughter Louanne, sons James and Ray as well as other family members.
