WASHINGTON—UPS has joined FedEx in announcing it will stop shipping vape products to consumers’ homes, reports Vaping360.com. The move comes after Congress passed The Preventing Online Sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act in December, and President Trump signed it into law.

Strongly supported by NACS, the law closes the online loophole for e-cigarettes that exists by requiring that the age of the recipient be verified in-person at delivery, a requirement that existed for other age-restricted products sold online but not for vapor.

When the UPS policy takes effect April 5, 2021, there will be no major shipping service delivering vaping products to homes.

FedEx has confirmed that it will end vapor product shipping as of March 1,Vaping360.com reports. DHL, the other major shipping service, previously banned domestic retail shipments of e-cigarettes and all nicotine-containing products.
