US Fuel Retailer RaceTrac Launches Subscription-Based Rewards

Like many other fuel retailers, RaceTrac has a free rewards program it offers
consumers to promote repeat business.

However, the company, one of the nation's largest fuel retailers, now has
launched an add-on monthly fuel subscription program called the "RaceTrac
Rewards VIP," according to an announcement today.

RaceTrac Rewards VIP members pay $2.49 per month to save 10cts/gal on the first
40 gal purchased and 3cts/gal thereafter on each fuel purchase the remainder of
the month.

The VIP program gives RaceTrac Rewards members who subscribe a fuel discount,
as well as various coupons and promotions on RaceTrac store merchandise, the
company said.

VIP subscribers enter the phone number tied to their RaceTrac Rewards account
at the pump or when paying inside the store. The fuel discount is provided as a
pump rollback when they pay for fuel. Subscribers also save on fuel through the
RaceTrac Rewards dashboard and new e-receipts, which are available online and
in the app, RaceTrac said.

RaceTrac Rewards members can upgrade to VIP membership at
www.racetrac.com/rewards/rewards-vip or in the RaceTrac mobile app. To become a
RaceTrac Rewards member, consumers download the RaceTrac mobile app or visit
www.racetrac.com/rewards.

RaceTrac said RaceTrac Rewards VIP is one of the latest enhancements the
company has rolled out this year. In April, it launched an online ordering
platform, allowing customers to select and order items from RaceTrac and pick
up their purchase within 30 minutes from the "Grab and Go Box" pass-through
window.

According to its website, Atlanta-based RaceTrac operates more than 550
convenience stores that sell fuel in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee and
Texas.

As a store brand, RaceTrac ranks 12th in market share nationally with a 2.18%
market share and 0.49% outlet share, according to OPIS MarketSharePro.
